Martha fans, mark your calendars for a ?good thing.? Stewart, now 70, is carving out time to speak in Kansas City.
Three decades ago, her first book, ?Entertaining,? with its elegant recipes and stylish photographs, made Martha Stewart a household name. Now her brand includes magazines, television, radio, furniture, crafts, pet gear and even neighborhoods of single-family dwellings through KB Home.
She has updated the classic book ?Martha?s Entertaining: A Year of Celebrations,? and will appear at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 at Unity Temple on the Plaza, 707 W. 47th St. The $75 admission includes an autographed copy of her new book and a guest ticket.
