Our client, a leader within the cosmetic industry, is seeking two outstanding District Sales Managers to develop business within the Richmond and Victoria
areas. This position is an amazing opportunity to run a business within a business. The position in Richmond BC will require the ability to communicate both
written and orally in Cantonese and Mandarin.

The District Sales Manager is responsible for managing the district?s resources and executing the strategic efforts ensuring that our client?s products and
services effectively reach the district?s Consumers through the direct selling channel. This individual is the link between the Division Sales Manager and
the Sales Dealer and has the responsibility of communicating both upward and downward while continuously motivating the Sales Dealer to service the Customers
within the market.

Key areas of responsibility and expectations are as follows:

Reaching sales and profit contribution performance objectives of the district through:
1.Prospecting, recruiting, appointing and retaining a sufficient number of Sales Dealers per campaign to achieve Customer Service growth according to
forecast
2.Training and motivating Sales Dealers to ensure Sales and Customer Service growth
3.Analyzing District opportunities and developing action plans. The plans should evaluate:
.Market opportunities
.Sales Dealer potential
.Potential Partners Sales Dealers
.Customer potential
.Alternate Support
.District expenses
4.Development and maintenance of Alternate Support personnel (e.g. Stand.In Manager)
Developing and implementing business plans and key objectives to achieve financial returns, including:
.Sales
.Sales Dealer Staff Count
.Total Customer Service
.Order Count
.Expense budget

Effectively managing the district?s Sales Dealers and, therefore, ensuring the district?s customers are serviced appropriately through the:

1.Training and development of Sales Dealers differentially, based upon their sales potential, to achieve maximum sales growth;
2.Establishment of a loyal organization of Alternate Support personnel and Sales Dealers who are committed to increasing customer Service
3.Acting as a role model supporting the development of Sales Dealers and Alternate Support personnel.
4.Identifying potential Partners Sales Dealers for future developments.

Ensure the existing resources (human and financial) are managed appropriately to optimize performance within the district.
Conducting one planning day per campaign which focuses on identifying and scheduling the appropriate plans/tactics targeted to achieve objectives as agreed
upon with the Division Sales Manager.

Contributing to the Division?s sales and/or profit through:
1.Achievement of annual sales and profit plan goals;
2.Achievement of quarterly objectives;
3.Seeking and exploiting marketing opportunities;
4.Maintenance of Alternate Support structure capable of supporting the district?s business;
5.Effectively planning resources through the planning day and campaign planning process;
6.Management of district expense budgets;
7.Maintain accurate records of territories and of Sales Dealer sales performance;
8.Updating and maintaining accurate territory counts and territory maps.

Principal Relationships
This position requires constant interaction with:
. Customers (provide service directly/indirectly
. Sales Dealers (recruit/train/coach/motivate)
. Division Sales Manager (inform/plan/implement)
. Alternate Support personnel (manage)
. Divisional Sales Development Manager and Division Sales Trainers. Additionally, this position requires interaction with:
. External individuals for meeting co.ordination
. Manager Support Specialist
. Manager Shipments Supervisor
. Credit check personnel
. Branch personnel

Skills And Aptitude Requirements

Recruiting
Mus t be capable of prospecting, interviewing, recruiting and appointing the forecasted number of Sales Dealers;

Motivating
Must be capable of inspiring both the Alternate Support personnel and Sales Dealer staff to achieve the district?s sales and Customer Service objectives.

Training
Must be able to transfer the necessary knowledge of our client in a workshop training or individual situation.

Interpersonal Skills
Must communicate clearly and effectively in individual and group discussion/presentations.

Planning/Follow.Up
Must effectively plan for the utilization of resources, be well organized, consistently meet deadlines and follow up on assignments within limited time
constraints while maintaining own personal quality of life.

Decision.Making
Must be capable of making effective decisions within the limited time constraints.

Delegating
Must be able to effectively delegate appropriate tasks to Alternate Support Personnel.

Analytical Skills
Must be capable of interpreting sales, expense, market and key performance.related information.

Manage Staff
Must organize and manage Alternate Support personnel and Sales Dealer staff for maximum productivity.

Overnight
Must be prepared to overnight away from home at workshops and National conference. Must agree to share a room with another District Sales Manager when
overnights are necessary.

This position offers a base Salary: and commission and bonus plan. A company car will be provided with gas card, cellular allowance, and full benefits.
